I made this drawstring lunch box bag during the long Independence Day weekend. There are minor flaws, but I am quite satisfied with the result. I didn’t have any drawstring, so I went ahead and used some normal twine used for salwars/churidars.
I followed a free pattern by craft passion for making this. I need to make a bigger version of this bag some time soon.
Now to the million dollar question – How is the bag so upright? The answer is – There is a material called interfacing that you can iron on to your fabric to make it stiff. I had it in my stash for a couple of years, but didn’t realize that this is the supply that I have looked for my sewing projects.
