Random Update #3

Published / by Elizabeth / Leave a Comment

~ writing here is something that I really wanted to do, but when I get the time, I really don’t want to go through the process.

~the lack of posts on this blog will continue for some more time unless I get back my mojo by virtue of some miracle..Highly unlikely :)

~ my third child is due in a month. I am expecting the baby to arrive early.

~ i prefer to work in office rather than from home. But since it is risky to travel much in the last month, I have decided to work for 2-3 weeks from home till the baby arrives.

~i have read some good books over the past few months. Some of them were re-reads and some were new. Overall satisfied with the progress.

~ i was very excited about reading on my kindle until recently. But these days, I prefer to go back to physical books. Then I feel that kindle books are overpriced too.

That is all for now…Cya…

Random Update #2

~ I don’t think I can call it ‘random-update’. But we are expecting our third child and I am due in September this year. This is huge news and I have written a longer post on my personal blog. We have received a lot of varied reactions from people around, but at this point I am mostly excited though I wish the next 6 months would fly by soon.

~ Along with nausea, I was hit by a strong fatigue by the time I reached back home from work most days. This was much stronger compared to my previous pregnancies and I salute all those mothers who have had kids at 35+ age.

~I went into a reading slumber and I couldn’t get myself to read anything. Finally I re-read The Railway Children by Edith Nesbit and got out of it.

~I have read Vanity Bagh by Anees Salim, The Artist of Disappearance by Anita Desai recently and enjoyed both. But I think it will be while before I write about them here.

~I try to read A Suitable Boy whenever I have some patience to hold on to a heavy book. I will never understand why there is no Kindle version available for that 1300+ page book.

~Amazon Prime Video has been a relief in this last few months. I loved watching a few romantic comedies and some TV series like The Middle and Just Add Magic. Just Add Magic is a kids series by Amazon and it is about cooking and magic. Somehow I enjoyed it more than The Middle.

~I have given up on the Amazon Kindle Unlimited subscription. Somehow the list of books available doesn’t look worthwhile even now. I will wait a 1-2 years and see if I should my decision.
